Hey all.
I like to write and play music. I'm still a novice. I enjoy singing and playing (preferably electric) guitar. I also enjoy writing stories from time to time. I do sprite work on and off. As a fan of rock music, I find it's not exactly hard to consider myself a good vocalist since most rock vocalists aren't very good but are hailed as gods anyway.
Most of my artwork thus far is too unimpressive for me to comfortably share. But I'm getting better, and that's what matters. Regardless, this website sucks because it is an oxymoron (*deviant* art, but they delete anything that actually deviates), filled with bad moderation, double-standards, and they don't consider music an artform. (See above, I am a non-descript "artist" because there isn't even a "musician" option)
I'm pretty blunt. Don't get too upset I don't hate people easily. I'm just very honest.

This website has become an oxymoron. They call it "deviantART" ... Deviant means someone who deviates from societal norms.
Notice how any time someone actually makes something that deviates it gets deleted? Now I heartily dislike 95% of the nude photographs that some consider "art," but if you post a picture of a naked women it's automatically considered art, but if it's a man it must be deleted. Because it deviates, and that has to be taken down. This is just one example of how far this website is up its own ass.

I'm going to go with a cop-out and say Sophomore year Prom. Probably not most peoples' idea of "childhood," but whatever. It was fantastic. The only better time was Senior year Prom, but I was 18 by then so I can't use it. P:

Okay this has always been a pet peeve of mine, but after the most recent Daily Deviation containing such a thing I am going to write this up. (I guess they call it a "DD" for a reason huh? har har har)
I'm tired of seeing perfectly good artists wasting their talents on drawing women with enormous breasts. It's ridiculous. Keep your pornography out of your damn art. It's even more sickening when it's fan art of a girl who normally has average sized, or even small breasts ... and now they felt the need to "upgrade" her with huge knockers. Seriously?
